Sanderling House is located on the banks of Broad Creek in Deltaville VA. Deltaville is a boating and fishing community and we have at least three sailing schools. On site we have our own marina for people who would arrive by water and the road to Deltaville very easy to find as well as kind to the driver. We pride ourselves for being a 'kick back and relax' sort of place. We encourage you to sit in the garden swing creekside, play a game of 'giant chess' under the willow oak tree or have a fun game of croquet or bocce on our uneven grass. There is a deck with a view of the marina and down the creek towards the Rappahannock River and on out to Stingray Point and the Chesapeake Bay. Come and enjoy our style, all rooms with private bathrooms and a splendid breakfast to enjoy in the morning. We are about 3 hours from Washington DC, 1 hour from Williamsburg and Newport News, 45 minutes from Yorktown and 1 hr and 30 minutes from Virginia Beach and Norfolk.
