Villa When we bought Villa L'Aimee we wanted to create a relaxed, comfortable, bright and sunny home from home for our guests. We think we've succeeded and certainly those who have stayed with us already seem to agree - we hope you will too! Set in the beautiful quartier of St Maurice at the base of Cimiez, Villa L'Aimee meaning "The Beloved Villa" was built in 1929, during the Belle Epoque era. It is situated in a quiet, private cul-de-sac overlooking the Parc Chambrun, enjoying wonderful views of the Temple de Diane and the city of Nice. With its cream facade, balustrades and paved garden, the villa retains its original feel and style, whilst providing every comfort for the discerning guest. Villa L'Aimee is quintessentially French, very much in keeping with this lovely part of the city, which is famous for its tranquillity and beauty. The villa has been fully renovated, to create a luxurious ambience while retaining many of its original features such as the parquet flooring and balustraded balconies. It is furnished throughout with elegant antiques in keeping with its era and decor. Getting around The quartier of St Maurice boasts restaurants, shops, banks, an original covered market and easy access to the rest of Nice. It is five minutes drive from the autoroute at Nice Nord and is serviced, from the nearby Place Alexandre Medicin, by two buses into the centre of Nice as well as an airport bus leaving every 15 minutes, which goes via the mainline SNCF train station. The Green Room The Green Room has been decorated in a fresh blend of soft mint green damask and pale pink and mauve silks, giving a restful feel to this spacious and sunny south facing double bedroom with its own private balcony. With Egyptian cotton bedlinen and duck down feather pillows, we believe we have thought of every comfort for our guests. The en suite bathroom is tiled in natural stone and fitted with bath and shower, wash hand basin and lavatory. The Green Room can be made up as either a double bed or twin beds. The Blue Room The Blue Room is a spacious, south facing double bedroom with its own private balcony, decorated in dusky pale blue damasks and pink silks. With original parquet floors and ceiling rose the belle é°¯que style of the house is wonderfully set off by the colour scheme and the rich fabrics of the curtains and bed linen. The Blue Room has a beautiful private bathroom, tiled in pale creamy beige natural stone, equipped with bath, shower, hand basin and lavatory, and supplied with soft white towels and bathrobes. The Blue Room can be made up as either a double bed or twin beds. The Gold Room This twin bedded room is beautifully decorated in soft golds, beiges and whites. With crisp white Egyptian cotton bedlinen and duck down feather pillows, every night you spend with us will be a real pleasure. The en suite shower room is tiled in natural stone, decorated and furnished to the same tasteful standard as the Gold Room itself.
