At the beginning of Maremma, halfway between Siena and Grosseto on the hilltop of Montacuto there is Casa Cecchi. As old as my grand-grand father (nobody knows)the cottage, situated nearby a larger complex, is been carefully restored by local craftsmen using traditional Tuscan materials. Outside there is a large courtyard with a gazebo overlooking vineyards, olive groves and forests. Inside the cottage is been finely furnished and comfortably equipped.
