Quinta dos Pinheiros has 25 acres of its own land in an area of great natural beauty within the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, 5 miles to the west of Tavira, with unrestricted views out to sea. The area teems with birdlife. There are two villas on the "quinta", the Blue and Yellow villas. Both are situated amid pine-trees, quite separate from each other and have their own pools. In front of the villas, the land runs down for about 150 yards to a tidal sea lagoon 100 yards wide where local fishermen harvest shellfish etc. and moor their colourful boats. They are well furnished and equipped. A housekeeper calls daily. On the other side of the lagoon is a five-mile long sandy beach, European Blue Flag standard. Although not part of a conventional development QdP is within 10 minutes driving time of shopping facilities and restaurants and is 45 minutes from Faro Airport. The quinta is an ideal location for a peaceful family holiday.
