Welcome to Governors Bay Bed & Breakfast. Our unique bed & breakfast is only 20 minutes drive to central Christchurch and 15 minutes to Lyttelton with easy access to explore Banks Peninsula through to Akaroa. There is a local hotel café/wine bar just 2 minutes away. The views are exquisite and the accomodation and service second to none. The building is a unique timber home built in 1999 and designed to accommodate our Bed & Breakfast. We have a separate guest wing which is private with own entrance and sunny morning deck. The ?Bayroom? is king size with large picture window to take in panoramic view of the harbour basin. Equipped with fridge, TV, CD player & all day tea/coffee supplied. It also has a private bathroom. We also have the ?Hillview Room? which is a standard double and only utilised if our guests are travelling together and request two rooms. So the whole wing is exclusively for you. Continental breakfast is provided in your room, on your deck, or pack up the hamper and take a picnic. Many stunning places to visit, excellent rural walking and complimentary aromatherapy baths.
