Balenbouche Estate is an extroadinary plantation guesthouse which offers several eco-style cottages in a truly exceptional setting. You can choose between our 2 bedroom cottages, 1 bedroom cottages, or our rooms in the antique furnished 19th century Plantation House. The 70 acre property is a working organic farm, a St. Lucia heritage site, and a family home. The expansive gardens are alive with colorful tropical flowers, ancient trees, exotic fruits, and many indigenous birds. Nature trails lead you to the remains of an 18th century sugar mill, and to several secluded beaches just a few minutes walk away. Many of our guests feel so comfortable here, they have adopted Balenbouche as their second home. The Estate is also a popular venue for weddings, artists retreats, yoga retreats, educational projects, and the Annual St. Lucia Jazz Festival.
