Our home is warm, spacious and extremely comfortable. Breakfasts offered are either english style or continental. Original paintings adorn the walls and every room has a superb garden view. Our two very well appointed sunny bedrooms - one queen and one king/twin with private courtyard access, have fresh flowers, good linen, TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Ensuites have heaters, hairdryers and quality toiletries. Ferntree Gardens is easy to find (one block East off the North/South airport bypass road) and is ideally located for guests to visit the city centre, Antartic Centre, Willowbank Wildlife Reserve (directly opposite) Hanmer Springs and Akaroa. If gardening is one of your passions, this is the ideal place for you. The 3 acre plus garden is predominantly New Zealand native although there are over 100 rhodendrons, many camellias, magnolias, climbing roses and other interesting plants to add colour and variety. Paths wind through the garden and seats are placed strategically for the view. Small lakes have goldfish and waterlillies and there is even a small rowboat on one!
