A traditional Lakeland cobblestone terraced cottage, which has been renovated whilst retaining its original character. Set back from the Penrith Road it is within 10 minutes easy, level walking distance of Keswick town centre and the River Greta, with all of its wildlife, flows behind. Access to the nearest fell, Latrigg, is just a few minutes walk away from where there are excellent views of Derwentwater and the surrounding mountains. On the ground floor there is a living/dining room with colour TV and radio/CD player. Behind this there is a small kitchen with fridge, electric oven, four ring electric hob and a combi microwave/grill. On the first floor there is a double bedroom. There is also a bothroom with lavatory, washbasin, bath with shower and shaving point. On the next floor there is a small twin bedroom. Behind the cottage there is a patio area with table and chairs overlooking the river. There are electric storage heaters in the kitchen and on the landing and a gas fire in the living room. There are also electric radiators in the bedrooms. All windows are double glazed. The cottage is carefully maintained by the owners, who live nearby. For the comfort of future guests we do not allow pets and operate a no smoking policy.
