We offer a brand-new, fully air-conditioned, luxury two-bedroom, two-bathroom groundfloor garden apartment with communal pool on the prestigious Las Ramblas golf course on the sun-drenched southern Costa Blanca. The apartment accommodates up to five guests. Las Ramblas is located just a short drive from both Alicante and Murcia airports, which are well served by major scheduled and charter airlines. Casa Lorca is the perfect destination for a relaxing year-round break for golfers and non-golfers alike with sun and sea thrown in for free! The golf course nestles among orange and lemon groves in hilly terrain just a short drive from excellent, pristine Blue Flag beaches. It is also a mere 45-minute drive from the coastal resort city of Alicante, and just 25 minutes from the baroque city of Murcia. According to the World Health Organisation, the climate of this region is one of the healthiest in the world, owing to the exceptionally mild winters, and lack of humidity. The area also boasts over 320 days of sunshine per year, which, along with the easy accessibility of the area, makes relaxing year-round golfing breaks of any duration a realistic proposition. Typical winter temperatures are not dissimilar to an English summer! Casa Lorca is situated on the beautiful Las Ramblas golf course, a short walk from the clubhouse. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en-suite), large sitting room with dining area, and fully fitted kitchen with breakfast bar. The property is fully air-conditioned and heated, ensuring a comfortable environment all year-round. There is marble flooring throughout the apartment. Guests enjoy the benefit of a reserved parking space. For your security, the apartment is alarmed. All windows are fitted with roller-blind shutters and grilles for added security. For additional peace of mind, Las Ramblas is a gated community, with patrolling security guards. The apartment is approached via a pathway through the fully enclosed and gated garden, and then up a flight of steps to the sun terrace, with reclining sun loungers and other garden furniture. The front door opens directly onto the living and dining room area. Living and dining room area The living room has a large sofa and armchair arranged around a large coffee table. The apartment has widescreen satellite TV (UK terrestrial and Sky channels), DVD, VCR, and micro hi-fi with radio, CD and cassette player. The dining area has a table with seating for four people. It also has a large dresser where you will find a selection of books, magazines, CDs, DVDs, videos, and board games for those rare occasions when the sun isn?t shining! Please feel free to bring your own favourite CDs, videos and DVDs. A high-chair and cot can be provided upon request. Kitchen The galley-style kitchen adjacent to the dining area includes an oven, electric ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher and washing machine. Crockery and cutlery are provided, as are a kettle, an iron and ironing board, washing line, toaster, juicer, and espresso coffee machine. You will also find a wide range of pans and other cooking equipment, should you prefer not to avail yourself of the many high-quality and excellent-value local restaurants! There is a utility area adjoining the kitchen which can be used for storage. Bedrooms The master bedroom has twin beds with bedside tables and lamps, and an extremely modern, marble en-suite shower room with lavatory, vanity basin and bidet. The second bedroom also has twin beds with bedside tables and lamps. The family bathroom has marble flooring, a full-size bath, shower, lavatory, vanity basin and bidet. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes (with clothes hangers!) and chests of drawers with ample storage space. They are both equipped with ceiling fans, to complement the air conditioning system. There is also a fold-away camp bed which can be used to accommodate a fifth guest. Linen: Bed linen and towels provided. Please bring your own beach towels. Outside: Residents are entitled to use any communal swimming pool on the Las Ramblas complex. Each pool has a segregated paddling area which is ideal for children. There is a particularly attractive communal pool within very short walking distance of the apartment.

Optional mid-week linen changes are available. Rentals are for 7 nights starting from 2pm on the day of arrival until 10:30am on the day of departure. Mid-week bookings and short-stays are accepted. Prices are calculated pro-rata with reference to the weekly tariff. Changeover days are flexible, depending upon availability. Discounts are available for longer-term bookings. Please enquire. Babysitting and airport transfers are available at an extra charge. Please enquire for further details. All bookings will be confirmed by us in writing. Deposits and payment: A 25% non-refundable deposit is payable upon reservation, and should be received within 10 days of booking. The balance (including a refundable £100 security deposit) is due eight weeks prior to departure. The security deposit will be returned as soon as possible after all keys are returned, and a satisfactory inspection of the apartment has been carried out. Any cancellations up to eight weeks of commencement will result in the loss of the booking deposit. Cancellations up to four weeks prior to commencement will result in a 50% refund. Cancellations made within the last four weeks prior to the commencement of the booking will normally not be refunded. Restrictions Sorry, no pets. Smoking is restricted to the outside terrace area. We regret that the apartment is unsuitable for the elderly or infirm, as it is wheelchair inaccessible. Children are very welcome, although care should be taken with very young children owing to the hard marble floors and furniture edges. We are unable to accept any responsibility for personal injury, sickness, loss or damage to property, however sustained to any lessee or their guests. We strongly advise guests to obtain suitable travel insurance from a reputable company before travelling and also to secure the apartment before going out.
