At Northcrest Manor is a Bed and Breakfast with a self catering family suite. The family suite has a delightful antique brass bed in the en-suite bedroom and two full size beds from an antique style pull out couch in the lounge. There is a poolside patio and a kitted out kitchen. All linen, crockery and cutlery provided. The cottage is secluded and private and all of the en-suite rooms open onto lush tropical gardens. All have air-conditioning (good idea in Durban's very humid summers), television and tea/coffee facilities with a good selection of beverages provided. At Northcrest Manor is situated on one of the main roads linking Durban City to the northern resort villages in the older and established suburb of Durban North. The architecture is colonial and quaint and there are excellent shops and restaurants, malls and entertainment centres in close vicinity. We are a short walk from the renowned Japanese Gardens and Umgeni Bird park and sancuary and on the same road as the Royal and Windsor golf courses and Kings Park and Kings Mead stadia. We are also on the same road as the railway station and the International Conference Centre. Very central and easy to find but set in the tranquility of a suburban garden. Our warm welcome and hospitality is legendary and for those who opt to take the Bed and Breakfast route rather than self catering, our breakfasts are in the generous South African tradition.
