The tastefully restored Gite offers spacious and comfortable single floor accommodation for up to 5 people. Kitchenette area - well-equipped with sink, fridge/freezer, full size cooker, microwave, toaster and kettle and all the cutlery and crockery you need. This is part of the living/dining room. Dining/Living area - the large living area has plenty of seating and dining furniture. There is a sofa bed in this room. Also a small TV/Video (with a selection of Videos) and UK Satellite is also provided if you want to keep up with news and sports etc, or to listen to the radio. Bedroom 1 - with double bed and French style furnishings Bedroom 2 - with two single beds, this also has French style furnishings Shower room - with sink and WC The owners include quality bed linen which is changed once each week, and large quality towels which are changed weekly. A generous welcome pack is also included, which should help you settle into a less frenetic pace quickly. Central heating is provided throughout. Outside: The orchard garden is full of mature fruit trees, apple, peach and grapevines as well as walnuts and chestnuts, with outstanding views across the river to the French countryside. There is ample off-road parking. The owners encourage their guests to use the local Bar/Boulangerie during their stay - the hosts are super, and they are only 100 yards away! You can buy fresh croissants for breakfast before sunbathing by the pool (16ft x 4ft), eating 'alfresco' on the patio area, or just relaxing at the end of the day with a glass of wine watching the beautiful sunsets from the barbecue area. If you fancy a spot of fishing - it's free! Whether you are a pro or a novice, you can have a go at catching the infamous 1metre long catfish, Whiskas, that is reputedly seen (but not yet caught!).
