CAROMA is a pretty Spanish-style, private, detached, air conditioned, 3 bedroom, two storey villa, with its own private (9mx4m) swimming pool, (which can be heated Spring/Autumn, by arrangement), extensive patios, a large sun-lounge, and a terraced garden. It is situated on the hillside a few minutes from the beautiful white-painted mountainside village of Mijas, at the edge of a mature, well wooded, community (Mijas la Nueva). CAROMA enjoys truly spectacular 360* views over the Mediterranean, the Costa del Sol, and the surrounding hills and mountains, while itself being quiet, entirely private, and rural. In addition to the private pool, there are two further large (communal) swimming pools, a tennis court and a small bar/restaurant nearby, and another small bar/restaurant about 5 mins walk away. There are 15-20 restaurants in Mijas village, which is 5 mins by car or 10-15 mins walk away. Fuengirola and the coast is 10-15 mins by car, and Malaga airport is 25-30 minutes away. Marbella and Puerto Banus are 30 mins drive. There is an excellent supermarkets in the area, and the water in Mijas is drinkable and plentiful. THE ACCOMMODATION PORCH and ENTRANCE HALL with an impressive old style front door, and pine dresser and cloaks rail LOUNGE AREA with traditional Spanish tiled floors, and patio doors, and windows, overlooking the patio and pool, has two comfortable armchairs, a bookcase and coffee tables. SITTING ROOM There is an air conditioned sitting room with a larger spanish fireplace and log burning fire. It has a 3 seater sofa and two matching armchairs, two coffee tables, and Satellite TV and a CD player. THE DINING ROOM has large semi circular window onto the sun lounge and views east to Fuengirola, as well as windows onto the patio. There is a log-effect gas fire. It has a pine dinning table and six padded dining chairs, and a matching pine sideboard, and mirror. KITCHEN with tiled floor and modern fully fitted peach/beige cupboards and drawer units, electric cooker, sink, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, extractor fan, dishwasher, toaster etc.The kitchen has a fully glazed door onto a rear patio, breakfast area and the terraced garden. FULLY TILED cloakroom with wc and washbasin etc THE SUN LOUNGE, which is a particular feature of this house (being over 7.5m x 3.0m) provides superb views and shelter from the summer sun, and the autumn/spring breezes. It has semicircular windows on all four sides, affording views east, south and west, and doors onto the garden and the patio/pool area, making it an ideal sitting/dinning area on the cooler Winter/Spring days, and a cool retreat from the sun in the Summer. It has a teak table and four reclining chairs, and a 2 seater sofa, two armchairs, a coffee table, and a built-in bar/storage unit. . STAIRS with hand rails, up to first floor BEDROOM 1 is a huge peach/cream air conditioned master bedroom, with (blue) beamed ceiling, and has part carpeted, part tiled floor. It has windows looking east and south and two south facing patio windows, with mini-balconies, looking down onto the pool/patio area. The super-King-sized bed is situated under the round ?tower? which is a feature of the house. There are extensive wardrobes and a dressing table and bedside cabinets. (There is ample room for a cot in this room, if required.) There is a built in gas fire/convector heater. EN SUITE SHOWER ROOM off Bedroom 1 is fully tiled in peach/grey and has a white suite comprising corner shower unit, basin, WC, bidet, mirrored cabinet, towel rail, and heater. BEDROOM 2 is predominantly pink/white, and has a beamed ceiling and a patio window (and balcony) facing south and overlooking the pool and patio. It has twin beds, a dressing table and a bedside table, built-in wardrobe, and air conditioning. . ADJOINING BATHROOM with bath, separate shower, wc, vanitory unit, mirrored cabinet, towel rail, heater etc was completed in January 2003, and is cream and tan BEDROOM 3 is at the rear of the first floor, and has a window overlooking the garden, twin beds and a built-in wardrobe.(again, completed in January 2003 in very pretty, yellow/blue). Also air conditioned. OUTSIDE EXTENSIVE PATIOS off the lounge areas and sun lounge, with patio dinning furniture, stone-built BBQ, sun umbrellas, and sun loungers. The patios are entirely private, and not overlooked, but enjoy 360* panoramic views of the foothills below Mijas, to Fuengirola, La Cala, the coast, and the sea beyond. On a clear day you can often see the North African hills! LARGE PRIVATE POOL (which can be heated in Spring - small extra charge) set in the Patio and again entirely private, with shower, yucca trees & shrubs to provide shade. Recently refurbished., and regularly cleaned/maintained. The pool is approx 9m x 4m and 1m to 2m deep. SECLUDED GARDEN, (terraced) and patio breakfast areas, with shrubs, mature trees, grape vines, and orange & lemon trees. SECOND PATIO, with Barbecue, chairs and table. GARAGE, private drive, and adjoining parking area (shared with neighbours).
