Our beautiful home was built in 1914 by a rancher so his children could go go to school in Spur.when we bought the place it was quite run down we did our best to bring it back to its orginal self.I has four bedrooms that we use for our guest each one is decorated in a different way,We have the Tracilyn Room it is decorated in roses and named after my first grandaughter,then we have the Jana room named for my youngest grandaughter it is decorated in many colors just like her,the last room upstairs is the cowboy room named for our area of ranches and cowboys,downstairs we have one room we rent it is called the Caitlan room named for my beautiful dark haired grandaughter it is decorated in beautiful antique furniture.Then there is our cottage that sets away from the main house, at one time it was the garage for the Model T Fords that was driven at the time our house was built, Jim rebuilt it and made a wonderful one bedroom and bath out of it,it seems to be every ones favorite.
