Lothlorien is a large charming thatched cottage situated on a beautiful 2 ha plot of land in the midst of an orchard ensuring complete privacy and serenity. It is an ideal getaway to escape to the refreshing and magical atmosphere of the mountains in Hogsback.
From Lothlorien you can enjoy the magnificant views of Thyume Valley and the Hogs.
Cottage sleeps 1 to 6 suitable for couples, groups or families. Double bedroom with queen size bed ground floor. 4 additional single beds upstairs you can move one pair of these together. Lounge is spacious with comfortable couches easy chairs and a coffee table. Dining area has a large dining table that comfortably seats 6. Fully furnished for your comfort. Bedding, duvets, linnen, blankets and pillows provided. Large bathroom with double shower, bath and toilet on the ground floor. Geyser for hot water. Cozy JetMaster fireplace in lounge area wood is available at ZAR 10 per bundle. Fully equipped kitchen for selfcatering including Microwave oven Large fridgefreezer, mini oven with hotplates. Kettle, crockery, cutlery ,pots and pans. Eskom electricity is installed. Games, puzzles and a selection of books provided. New Braai/barbeque area near cottage which is lit by a switch in the cottage. It also has a table with seating for braais under the stars on warm Summer nights. Wood is available at R10 per bundle from the caretaker. There is also a shop in the Hogsback village where one can purchase forgotten items such groceries or toiletries. For the nights when one does not wish to cook there are pubs and restaurants in the village where one may eat quality food at a reasonable price.
