We are in the old quarter of Vejer de la Frontera, close to the castle and the pretty Plaza España. Our house is an Andalucian ?patio house? owing much to the area?s history of Moorish occupation. Step through the double doors into the traditional beamed Zaguan or entrance hall. Down under the stone arch, into the tranquil Patio. This is a cool, open, central courtyard enclosed by the house. The ground floor apartments and the old stable lead directly off. Two open staircases give access to the first floor apartments. Another staircase climbs up to the roof top terrace from a sunny balcony. The terrace offers sunbathing, seating, shower and amazing views over the wetland conservation area to the Atlantic beaches and to the Rif Mountains of Morocco beyond. The house is in a quiet location and we promote an atmosphere of relaxation and tranquillity Details of Casita 5 -Casa Sin Nombre On the first floor, this is the largest of the apartments in Casa sin Nombre. Enter through the low, wide door into the heavily beamed sitting room with two Moroccan style day beds. The beams continue into the dining area with it's simple wooden furniture, and on into the L shaped kitchen where a window looks out down into the patio. Through old double doors into a small lobby area, the bathroom is straight ahead with modern white sanitary ware and large shower. The pretty double bedroom has a large south facing window, with views over the conservation area, the coast and Africa beyond.
