There is parking space for two cars within the grounds and extra space just outside of the gates, together with a large grassed area for children to play. The local shop and bar are a short 500m walk away, and can even be reached via a footpath behind the house without having to walk along the road. If you enjoy the outdoors, the local area offers lots of interesting circuits along the quiet roads for walking and cycling, and maps of the many droves and footpaths are available in the house.
