Self-catering accommodation for 6 people La Colombine is a traditional Norman cottage in the heart of Calvados (apple brandy and cider) and Camembert (world famous soft cheese) country. The cottage is located in the peaceful countryside hamlet of Canapville, in easy reach of numerous market towns including Vimoutiers and Orbec. The cottage is less than an hour from the coast with its miles of golden sand and the D Day beaches. The cottage is well equipped as your ?home away from home?. There is an enclosed garden and games room for the children to play and an open fireplace for cosy nights in during the winter months. On the ground floor: a lounge with fireplace; dining-room with table and chairs; games room with TV and video, table football, board games and dartboard; a bathroom with washing machine and WC; a fully equipped double aspect kitchen with breakfast table, gas/electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, drinks fridge, and cutlery and crockery for 6 people; main door leading to the garden with garden furniture, barbeque and views over open fields. On the first floor: a double bedroom; two twin bedrooms; a bathroom with shower; and open landing space with shelves of books. Weekly bookings start from Friday afternoon at 4pm. Guests are asked to vacate the gîte by 10am the following Friday.
