La Romaine is a large house constructed in 1900, renovated in the 60's and divided into two apartments. It has earned a four star rating from the regional Tourism bureau. It has a curved tile roof and large masonry walls that it cool during the summer months. The ground floor apartment opens onto a beautiful patio that leads to the pool and the park. The walls around it guarantee privacy without interfering with the view of the Château of the Comtes de Toulouse, that of the archdiocese, and the bell tower of the 12th century cathedral. Set against the backdrop of archeological digs that have brought to life the architectural legacy of the Roman, the well shaded park is home to a variety of species and numerous fragrances. This beautiful setting, combined with a pool long enough to swim laps (20m x 8m!), is guaranteed to bring the vacationer well deserved tranquility and rest. The two apartments can be combined for a large group or family, or kept divided for two different groups.
