Duck Cottage Duck Cottage is a new gîte close to Bayeux in the direction of Saint-Lô. The gîte itself is located behind the owners? house in the village of Vaubadon. It has its own parking space and a small separate garden and terrace. The guests also have the run of the owners? garden which has a lawn and a swing for the children. The terrace has a patio set and is south-facing, enjoying the sun all day. It enjoys an open outlook over fields. There is a small fully equipped kitchen - electric cooker with oven, washer-dryer, microwave, kettle, cafétière, toaster, fridge, etc. The living room adjoins the kitchen. There is a radio, TV, video and a selection of cassettes as well as a selection of books and games. The staircase leads to an upstairs landing with access to two bedrooms and the bathroom The smaller of the bedrooms connects with a third bedroom. Two have double beds, and the other has two single beds. A cot is available on request. Access You arrive in Vaubadon from Bayeux and in the centre of the village you see the Bar/Restaurant/Shop ?Chez Cathy?. Turn left immediately into the public car park opposite, ( there are recycling bins and a phone box in the carpark)drive right to the back of the car park and drive through the entrance you find there, go to the end of the garden and there you will find your parking space.
