This is the perfect place to come and relax, or as a central point for touring the Island's famous natural attractions.
It is a cosy cottage built in 1990 from local stone, with extensive natural timber. The cottage is nestled in native scrub, which gives a private, secluded feel while sitting on the deck. Possums and wallablies come to the deck for food. Many native birds bathe each day in the bird bath, and come to the deck for crumbs. The occasional goanna and echidna wander through the bush.
The cottage is fully equipped with modern appliances, but decorated with an olde-worlde feel. There is an open mezzanine bedroom with queen-size bed, and separate downstairs bedroom with two single beds, bathroom, and open lounge/dining/kitchen.
