Our Luxury 2-bedroom apartment is set amongst the grounds and gardens of the Valencia estate, within walking distance of the Villamartin Golf Course. It is situated in one of the more established areas, as such its location is very spacious and peaceful. It is approximately 45 minutes south of Alicante Airport, and 20 minutes north of Murcia Airport, and easily accessible via the new A7 road. The plazas at Villamartin and Los Dolces are within walking distance, providing a variety of restaurant bars, shops and supermarkets, as well as entertainment in season. The nearest major town is Torrevieja, about 15 minutes to the north. The nearest beach at La Zenia is five minutes drive away, but this is only one of many nearby. Beaches in this area of the southern Costa Blanca, and Costa Calida all have the EC Blue Flag award for having high environmental standards of cleanliness, and benefit from having an average temperature of around 20 degrees Centigrade and more than 300 sunny days a year. Larger supermarkets and the weekly Saturday market are within a 5-10 minute drive. If it is golf which you seek, then apart from the Villamartin course, which has hosted the Spanish Open, there is Las Ramblas, and Campoamor within 10 minutes, or the stunning La Manga and La Finca courses within 30 minutes. Advance booking for La Manga is vital, I can advise you about this. Other facilities available are: - Tennis at Villamartin Golf, horse riding 5 minutes away, cycle hire (delivered), water parks in Torrevieja, sea fishing trips, stunning walks in the mountains. Sightseeing in the historic towns of Murcia, Elche and Cartegena, all 40 minutes away. There is a folder full of information within the apartment. This upstairs apartment is in an excellent location adjacent to a parking area and overlooking the communal pool and gardens. It benefits from having its own large balcony, a very private roof solarium with sea and mountain views and a built in barbecue and a small, enclosed garden. This enables the occupants sun or shade, whatever their choice throughout the day. A full range of patio furniture is supplied. Inside the apartment has been furnished to a high standard. the two bedrooms have twin beds, fitted wardrobes and bedside tables, with ceiling or free standing fans for additional comfort. The fully tiled bathroom, has an over bath shower, toilet and two wash hand basins. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, electric kettle, toaster, iron, and ironing board. A washing machine is situated in the utility area. The living/dining room provides comfortable accommodation for relaxing. There is satellite TV and a radio/cassette/CD player. A ceiling fan and working fire place ensure comfort throughout the year. Portable fans, room heaters and house linen are all provided. I am in contact with other owners nearby, additional properties may be available for second families. Please bear in mind when booking your flights that you need to arrive at the apartment no earlier than 2pm and depart by 10am on Saturday, so that the apartment can be serviced. We try to be flexible on this rule whenever we can but this may not always be possible, particularly in the high season. Car hire is very easy to arrange, the car can be waiting for you at the airport. If you do not wish to hire a car, all facilities are available within walking distance. Local taxis are very reasonable, and easy to arrange, as is the bus service. I can provide help and advice on all matters, including flights, airport transfers, car hire, and golf at La Manga.
