The Little Riveria, is a three bedroom fully furnished/equipped cottage located in the beautiful New River Valley of Southwestern Virginia. The cottage was built circa 1900 as a general store and converted to a residence in the 1960's. The cottage and the adjoining barn (former blacksmith’s shop) are listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The property sits in a bend of the Little River, a pristine, beautiful river that offers great fishing and water activities. The cottage's front yard is bordered by 600 feet of river frontage. In addition to fishing, guests have hunting rights on 76 acres of private property. When hunting is out-of-season the property is idea for hiking/mountain biking. The cottage sleeps 7 and provides local phone service and satellite TV. The cottage is owned and operated by a local couple who would be delighted to host your visit to the New River Valley. Smoking & pets are not allowed in the cottage.
