Ianthe Roper and Richard Barter welcome you to Chezfreddie, a large family house with swimming pool in Poitou-Charentes, offering self-catering holiday rentals, bed and breakfast, or flexible packages for training or special interest groups. The house has 6 en-suite double or twin bedrooms, all centrally heated and furnished to a high standard. Downstairs is a large dining-room (seats 12), a quiet lounge, fully-fitted kitchen and utility room. The house has been modernised and equipped to provide a comforable and convenient place to stay. We are open all year. The 1.5 acre garden offers an 11x5 metre salt water swimming pool, with a level playing area beside it for games such as badminton, boules or table tennis (all games provided). At the far end of the garden is a secluded orchard where you can chill out beside the river Boutonne, a class 1 fishing river. Whether your hobby is bird-watching, history, music, fishing or cycling in the gently undulating countryside, you will find Chezfreddie to be a relaxing and comfortable venue. A wide range of local attraction are within easy reach.
