Located on Florida's Gulf of Mexico (the Nature Coast), Cedar Key is a small artist and fishing village about 3.5 hours northwest of Orlando and 3 hours north of Tampa. Our villa - Tranquility - is brand new as of 2002 and is furnished with a contemporary "Zen" flair for your comfort and convenience. Our two bedroom, two bath condominium is a corner unit on the third floor with a private balcony overlooking the back bayou of Cedar Key and the Gulf of Mexico. Enjoy the sunrise in the morning with your binoculars ready for the incredible bird life! Dolphins often visit the small bay below the balcony in the mornings. The kitchen is especially well "kitted-out" for the gourment cook. We love to cook and eat in often, so we've made a major effort to have a well-stocked kitchen. A washer and dryer are available in the villa for your use also. The master suite includes a king bed and full (attached) bath. The guest bedroom has a queen bed and a full bath across the hall. Full linens are provided. Both beds have new, high quality comfortable mattresses. Nightables, dressers, and closets provide plenty of storage. The dining room seats six elegantly. The Tech area offers a PC connected by DSL to the Internet to provide easy email checks and web surfing. A DSL connection is available for you to connect your laptop if you wish. The living room offers a queen sleeper sofa and loveseat. A 27" television with DVD and VCR are also available. We have a small library of DVDs, Videos, books, and CDs for guest use. A secure fishing pole storage rack is on the balcony along with beach toys and a couple of beach chairs in the storage box. A thermostat for setting heat and air-conditioning to your comfort levels is guest-controlled. Ceiling fans are provided in every room.
