The house is a typical Umbrian stone farmhouse dating back from centuries ago, surrounded by 2 ha. of private grounds and offering a panoramic view across the Carpina valley. The owners have recently restored the house with particular care, respecting the original architecture. La Terrazza (sleeps 4 - 6)is an elegant and spacious apartment (75 m2) on the ground floor with two private terraces, one of which is situated on the south side of the house offering a panoramic view over the valley, the other one offering shade in the afternoon. The high ceilings and floors are made with the original materials: heavy oak beams and antique terracotta tiles. Partially exposed stone walls and features emphasize the rustic atmosphere. The apartment is furnished with a mixture of fine antiques and pieces of high quality wood specially designed for La Villa and made by the local craftsmen. There is central heating, TV and a CD-player. From the large and beautiful terrace (12 x 4 m) with wooden garden furniture you have a magnificent view over the surrounding landscape. A stairway offers direct access to the swimming pool which is situated on a lower level. There are comfortable sun beds and the pool area includes a shower/dressing/laundry room as well as a furnished covered terrace with a BBQ. In front of the house there is a large piazza for common use where, on request, it is possible to enjoy an outside meal together with the other guests.
