La Grange is situated in the small hamlet of La Garde, 4kms from the village of Le Bugue, a lively village with all the amenities for your everyday needs - supermarkets, banks, doctors, chemists, restaurants and every Tuesday the market. Le Bugue is situated on the river V�z�re, about 30kms from Sarlat, 50kms from P�rigueux and 50kms from Bergerac. In an area rich in history, scattered with prehistorique caves, ancient ch�teaux, medieval towns and villages, food and wine are one of the priorities of life here. There are markets full of local fresh produce going on in one of the surrounding villages everyday. The stalls are heaped with fruit and vegetables, local cheese, wine, seafood, p�tes, clothes, kitchen utensils and bric-a-brac. There are restaurants almost everywhere you go, to suit all different purses, with generous menus and local wines. Within an hours drive are the vineyards of Bergerac where its possible to taste some of the wines. For the more sportive there are lots of possibilities: tennis, fishing, canoeing or you can hire mountain bikes in Le Bugue.There are riding stables 6kms and golf at 15 and 25kms.
