Sleeps 4-5 Gerakas House is a two storey property standing in cultivated gardens surrounded by olive trees. The house is made up of four apartments surrounded by covered balconies and verandas with tables and chairs. The two upstairs apartments were added in spring 2005. They have sea views and panoramic vistas of the Vasilikos forest including Mount Skopos. In the gardens you will find citrus shrubs and trees, with sun loungers and hammocks set amongst them for relaxing in the shade. There are a couple of garden swings to keep the young and old amused, and outdoor showers to cool after a hot day on the beach. From the main doors at the rear of the property you enter the open plan dining room and kitchen area where you will find a table and chairs and colour television (in the downstairs kitchens). The kitchen is equipped with a twin hotplate, toaster/sandwich maker, a fridge and an electric kettle. There is plenty of cupboard and drawer space and masses of utensils, pans, crockery and cutlery. There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin. Each has fitted wardrobes, a dressing table and mirror and French doors leading onto the terrace. There are mosquito nets at the bedroom windows downstairs. Outside on the balconies you are surrounded by bougainvillaea giving you a lovely private setting. Each air conditioned bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom with toilet, shower and wash basin. There is a colour television in each of the bedrooms of the upstairs apartments. Gerakas beach, grocery stores, bars and tavernas offering freshly prepared local food are just a short stroll away; you have everything you need for that perfect relaxing holiday with friends/family. The secluded cove, a few minutes’ walk away down the lane, is ideal for snorkelling.
