Our condo #25 is a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom unit on the 3rd floor of the Tradewinds Condo complex. Tradewinds was American built and has an international group of owners, many are year round. There are 54 units in four buildings grouped around the well-kept tropical gardens and large pool. The property is located just above the town of Sosua about 12 miles from the Puerto Plata International airport; we can arrange airport pickup ($20). The condo is full equipped, full size refrigerator and stove, all kitchen equipment, pots pans dishes etc. There is a DVD/CD/MP3 player, satellite TV, DVD movies are available from our agent Jenny on request. Our balcony affords a beautiful view out over the pool and gardens; you can see the ocean (it's a 10 min walk from Tradewinds). The bedroom and living room both have ceiling fans, in the evening there is always a refreshing TradeWinds breeze and we have found no need for AC (our other unit at The Palms has AC in the master bedroom, on our last visit in Feb 2005 we turned it on 1 evening just to try it out, didn't use it again during our 3 week stay) Laundry facilities are available onsite. A cell phone is available on request. Tradewinds is one of the most sought after complexes in the Sosua area. We have owned our unit for the last 6 years and we have had nothing but good feedback from all our visitors.
