The house is just a few kilometres from the attractive little market town of Meyssac which has all facilities for shopping including a national supermarket, bank hotel restaurant and several bars. There is a market twice a week in Meyssac with many local producteurs specialising in France's finest foie gras, confit de canard, cabecou cheese and wine from the Cahors region.
