Finca Higueron is a ten minute drive from the golden beaches of El Palmar and Conil, and is an ideal location to combine all the pleasures of a beach holiday, with private, relaxing accommodation in quiet open countryside that has wonderful views. El Olivo is in the center of the property; to the east there is an orchard with mature figs, olives and almonds; to the south shrubs break up the view of Africa, 70km away; to the west there is a view to the Atlantic 6km away and a garden of citrus trees and vegetables; north is the main house and the guest’s private entrance. All the grounds are open to our guests. The cottage has a private patio, with garden furniture, BBQ and mini pool with integral seating (2m X 2m by 0.75m deep). In the central patio that seperates El Olivo from the other one bedroom cottage, there is a path that wanders through a large concealed tropical garden. The Finca provides easy access to many beaches and is central to local villages and towns. The countryside is perfect for walking, cycling, horse riding and bird watching. This purpose built cottage has been designed to provide total privacy, space and comfort for two people. The twin bedroom has walled mounted reading-lights and a central light with a fan. To provide maximum comfort all windows have night blinds. The bedroom and lounge windows face the southwest, which provides guests with spectacular views to the Atlantic Ocean. The bathroom is fully tiled and consists of a toilet, washbasin, a bidet and a 90cm square shower, with other bathroom furnishings to satisfy both short and long stay requirements. The well thought out, double worktop, galley kitchen, is comprehensively furnished to satisfy most cooking requirements. The living area consists of a large lounge-dining room with lounge and dining seating for four. For private entertainment, the cottage has a TV, video and music centre with wall-mounted speakers. In season fresh homegrown vegetables are available to our guests, who wish to ‘eat in’. There is also a broad selection of videos and DVD’s available for in house entertainment; in addition we operate a very popular book swap service. The large garden area is quiet and surrounded by common land that can be explored. As the Finca is on the flight path for birds migrating from Donona Park and Africa, it is ideal for bird watching. There are many different walks nearby and we have mountain bikes, with safety helmets for those who like to explore. For golfers we have full sets of clubs and golf trolleys for hire.
