Evergreens - New England Stowe Vermont Rental House __________________________________________________ Our Stowe, Vermont resort vacation rental house is sited on the hill overlooking the West Branch Valley that runs from the village of Stowe to Stowe mountain - actually Mt. Mansfield. With the "perfect" New England Village of Stowe (yes, it does have white clapboard steeples & a general store) just 4 miles down Mountain Rd. & our very own set of mountains surrounding our valley - all crowned by Mansfield, how can we not feel that we're in the heart of New England? The views are classic. We can even hear the stream over the hill. Our Stowe, Vermont rental house is within Topnotch Resort & Spa with all the resort facilities at hand: pools, tennis, tennis center & full spa. The spa, tennis courts & pools are across the hill from us. From our deck, you get terrific views of this Green Mountain Valley. While our New England vacation rental house is sited with other townhomes, the woods are just in front & to the sides of us. In those woods, are many rough trails. Our Stowe resort vacation rental home at Topnotch Resort & Spa is up on the hill overlooking trees & the green mountains of Vermont. While sited with other townhomes, the woods are just in front & to the sides of us. The downstairs is an open floor plan, with the kitchen, living room & dining area all sharing one large space. This allows for great mixing of people. The kitchen is open to the living area & has lots of great work space. The slate surround fireplace with sitting ledge warms the room. Downstairs - br with twin beds & bath. Upstairs - master br with wood burning fireplace, sitting area, large windows, sauna & jacuzzi ; 3rd BR: with queen. ======================================================================= Where Our New England Stowe Resort Rental House Is Situated Overall: Located on a hill above the Mountain Road ( Route #108) that leads, one way for 4 miles into Stowe and the other way for 3 ½ miles to Mt. Mansfield and then on to Smugglers Notch ( road through notch is closed in the winter). Just below us and across the horse meadows is the West Branch Creek - where fly fishing is excellent and access is easy. This same stream is a gentle canoe or kayak when the water is up and running. In any event, it is a fine stream for children to play along. Also along this stream runs a paved bike and walking route - all the way into town. The path has its own hump back bridges over the stream and winds through meadows, along an out door sculpture gallery, by restaurants and pubs and then in to the heart of our New England village with its perfect white steeples, art galleries, antiques and general store. Views from Vermont Rental Home in Resort: When we look out our living room and master bedroom windows, we are looking out through stands of evergreens with the West Branch Valley beyond. The sun sets directly behind Dewey Mountain to the south west. Mt. Mansfield ( highest in Vermont ) and its flanks sit to the right of our view.

Nearby to Our Stowe Rental Resort Home: Our vacation rental house sits above two of Topnotch at Stowe's tennis courts and just up the hill from many more. For rainy or winter days, we also have a set of indoor tennis courts just across Mountain Road from us. Up through Topnotch Resort, up the hill, there is a network of wooded bridle/running/rough walking trails and, in the winter, cross country ski trails. These trails will take you up onto the hill's crown and down into glades where the stream starts that runs under the hill next to our house. The hillside is forested with maples, birch, pine, and hemlock. The trails are rough and cared for only by those who pass by. You will be alone in your own New England Forest - just up the hill from us. Costs More: The fact is that our New England rental house is priced a little higher than others that you might find for rent in Stowe.
