'Goldfinch' This is our 'baby', an open-plan 'studio' gîte with a seperate bathroom with bath, WC, bidet and hand basin, and is totally wheelchair friendly. There's everything you could want in the kitchen/diner to create simple snacks to gourmet meals! (Just let us know if you need candlesticks for that extra romantic touch!) Exposed beams, thick walls and an air of calmness about the place make this a lovely base to explore the local villages, and get to know the 'real' France! Relax on your own patio over an extended lunch, laze away the hours in the sunshine with a good book! Goldfinch is an ideal 'bolt-hole' for couples, or maybe those with a baby or small children. Please let us know if you require a cot and/or a high chair? We'd also be pleased to offer up a babysitter if you'd like to visit Saumur for the evening, or try one of the local restaurants, although here in France, most places would love you to visit 'en famille'.
