Lavender Cottage is a charming converted chapel, located in the quiet Somerset village of Draycott. It has recently been refurbished and now offers lovely accommodation for a family from which to explore the local area. The accommodation consists of a lovely large, airy lounge / diner which looks out to the garden through the sliding patio doors, a recently refitted kitchen with all the modern conveniences, an outside utility room with laundry facilities, a south facing double bedroom with king-sized bed and a twin bedded room with added sleepover bed for a child. In more detail, the lounge area has been well equipped with two sofas to seat 4 / 5 people, TV, video, DVD and CD player, as well as plenty of toys, board games and books for those rainy days or evenings in. In the dining area there is a pine dining table with four chairs as well as a fold away guest chair. High chair available on request. The kitchen has recently been refitted and now benefits from a cooker, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge/freezer and there is the property has the added advantage of having a utility room (approached from the outside) which houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. The bathroom has a shower, wash basin and WC. The main double bedroom has stripped floors and a king-size bed. There is a wardrobe and a chest of drawers to provide you with plenty of storage for your stay. The twin bedded room has an additional child’s bed if required. There are is also plenty of storage in this room with wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinet. Outside there is a seating area in a sunny south facing garden with patio furniture and a BBQ. There is parking for 1 car only but further on-street parking spaces can be found. Non-smokers only, please and no pets.
