Laurel Cottage is the largest of our two cottages and is a three storey, stone built gite attached to the central barn and has been completely renovated to sleep six people and a baby in comfort. The ground floor consists of a large open-plan living room with a wood-burning stove and fitted kitchen area, equipped with fride/freezer, gas cooker, microwave and dishwasher. There is a dining area and separate comfortable sitting area with a television, radio cassette & compact disc player. On the first floor is a cork tiled bathroom with full sized bath, shower, washbasin and WC. There are two carpeted bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, both are equiped with plenty of drawers, hanging and shelf space. This floor is heated by oil fired central heating, the radiators being controlled by a central thermostat. On the second floor you will find a large carpeted bedroom which contains two single beds and a drop-sided cot, as well as a second washroom with basin and WC. There is also a private sitting area outside the gite with a patio table, chairs and a barbeque where you can detatch yourself from the rest of the world and relax at the end of an exhausting day sightseeing! Also on site is a games barn which has a table tennis table, bebe foot table and dartboard on the ground floor and a full size snooker table on the first floor. Owners live on site.
