On the one mile long track there are only 4 other houses, and the road goes from no-where to nowhere, so it is really very quiet. The house is well equipped for outside living. The breakfast patio has an octagonal table and 10 teak chairs for dining; the poolside patio has a long table which will seat 12 +, and has parasols provided too. And there is a third patio/veranda, with a pub style table, and which is shaded with Virginia Creeper for when the heat gets too much. Around the house is a croquet lawn and a boules pit (also serves as a car turning circle!); the swimming pool (with ample sunbeds) is just outside the house on the west side and our private tennis court is 3 minutes further on – many have said that it is the most beautifully located tennis court they have ever played on. On the north side of the house is a large grassed area which has variously been used for soccer, rounders and Frisbee. It is unfortunately also a favourite spot for moles and rabbits, so is quite unsuitable for cricket.
