Abruzzo is our idea of holiday heaven and at Torre dei Nolfi it comes complete with guardian angels in the form of Paula and Clive. Thanks to both for the warmth of your welcome and comfort of our stay, and for the fantastic weather! We have now spent 18 nights here over 2 years and have yet to see a cloud in the sky at breakfast time. The apartment is lovely, with a balcony looking out over the mountains which makes a great breakfast spot. We explored Sulmona, the abruzzo national park, lake Scanno, as well as numerous medieval villages perched on mountains. Clive and Paula were exceptionally helpful and friendly, and I was very grateful for Clive's support when I had some trouble with our hire car. Highly recommended...
