At the end of a road about 40 Km. west of Mount Robson Park is a delightfully unique wilderness retreat. Here are 168 mostly wild wooded acres, with over 4 Km frontage on the still pristine headwaters of the Fraser River. The woods are home to bears, coyotes, moose, and deer. The rivers and nearby streams are teeming with fish. The elegantly rustic handcrafted log home is set in a gorgeous garden, flanked by the Caribou and Rocky Mountain ranges. There are 3 cozy, beautifully decorated bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a woodfired sauna, and a solarium with a spectacular view. Propane powers the lights, fridge, stove, and hot water, but there's also a woodfired cookstove. An extra bonus is the bounty of the organic vegetable and berry garden that we share with our guests. If you should tire of sitting on the spacious decks soaking up the beauty and tranquillity, you might take a walk along the trails that meander along the river bank, or climb along the ridges to reveal awesome vistas of the mountain valley. canoes are also available for gentle floats down the river. We are situated within daytripping distance of Jasper and Robson parks, and there are many tourist oriented adventure businesses in the close vicinity, such as white water rafting, horseback riding, bicycle rentals and tours, and guided excursions into the back country for sportsmen, photographers, and naturalists.
