When we saw the pictures on the Internet, we knew we were in for a treat but when we got here it was idyllic. It made November feel like July! A wonderful time was had by all! It is a larger than the usual holiday cottages in Dorset, with more space, better equipment and more modern furnishings than is usual in Swanage self catering cottages. We take this seriously and are seeking to make the house better all the time. You will find the house free of clutter with modern, brand new IKEA furniture. Having been on self catering holidays where the cleaner had cleared the holiday cottage and we had to go and buy salt, washing up liquid etc., we resolved to make things easier. You will find the beds made up when you arrive, a supply of towels and we always leave the house with stocks of cleaning materials, loo rolls, tea, coffee and biscuits as well as basic condiments. The Coop is only 5 minutes walk and has a great selection of everything you might need. It is also open from 8 am to 8 pm everyday except Sunday when it is open from 10 am to 4 pm.
