Home Farm Cottages consists of four beautifully-converted stone farm buildings, all with original beams and sleeping between 2 and 7 people. The Bakehouse also has a wood-burning stove. All cottages are comfortable, warm and outstandingly well-equipped, and guests have access to a hot tub in the gardens. There is plenty of parking onsite. The enclosed paddock, where our chickens roam free, is an ideal place for children to play. We also keep a few sheep in the field adjoining the paddock. It is a great place to relax and unwind with many lovely walks in the area, and is ideally situated for Cheddar, Wells, Longleat, Glastonbury, Bristol and Bath. Sandy beaches are just 5 miles away and horse riding, golf, and dry-slope skiing are available locally. The local village, Winscombe, provides a wide range of local shops, takeaways and banks, with several pubs that serve excellent family food within easy range. Home Farm is part of a quiet, peaceful hamlet with a backcloth of the Mendip Hills and views across the Loxton Valley and its patchwork of fields. The cottages are surrounded by a mixture of farmland and National Trust property in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
