This spectacularly located stone Guard House accommodated anti-smuggling officers in the 19th Century . Many windows face east which along with an enclosed terrace have wonderful coastal views. The other side has another terrace plus a sloping lawn with shrubs and trees. The Guard House sleeps 6 (+1). All linen except swimming towels is provided. Accomodation Downstairs: The large Kitchen has limed-oak units housing an excellent range of kitchen equipment including a dishwasher, washer dryer, fridge-freezer and a dining table for 7. The Dining room has a table for 6 and exposed stone work and a pine dresser with an archway through to the Sitting Room with satellite tv, video, cd player, books and games , a log burner fire/stove and french windows to the enclosed private terrace, with cliff views. There is a small Study and a Cloakroom with a power shower. Accommodation Upstairs: A winding staircase takes you up to a twin room and a double room both with sea views and another twin room overlooking the garden with views to Golden Cap. A 'Z' bed and a cot, and high chair are available free of charge. The bathroom has a bath with a power shower over it. The Guard House is mostly double glazed and has oil fired central heating supplemented by the open fire in the Sitting Room. Logs fnd coal are provided. Electricity and heating costs are included in the rental cost There is parking for two cars next to the Guard House. No smoking is allowed inside the cottage. Pets are welcome by arrangement
