The resort is situated in a very quiet area on the sunnysouth side of the island and boasts a variety of on-site facilities, including aswimming pool, bars and a restaurant, making it an ideal location for families with young children. Golf, tennis and horseback riding is nearby. Most units offer spectacular views of Mount Teide and some have views of the water gardens. A car is recommended as there is no public transport except taxis. Directions By air: Nearest airport: Reina Sofia 8km. Take the motorway TF1 towards Los Cristianos. Take the first exit (62) signposted San Miguel/Las Galletas/Los Abrigos. Take the exit lane which goes back over the motorway, keeping in the left hand lane, following signs for Los Abrigos, NOT San Miguel. Turn right towards Las Galletas/Costa del Silencio. The entrance to Amarilla Golf and Country Club is on the left, marked by a large sign. Turn left here and drive straight on. Continue, passing the golf clubhouse on your right and Pebble Beach on the left. Beyond this, on the right, there is a small sign for the Fairways Club Reception.
