Primrose Cottage is a spacious, self-contained, pet-friendly holiday cottage with its own garden. It is situated at the heart of some of East Devon's most spectacular countryside. The cottage nestles within Spillers Farm, an ex-working farm now dedicated to providing accommodation and refreshment to travellers. Primrose Cottage is the ideal location for a relaxing holiday or short break, and is a great place to use as a base, to explore the East Devon countryside and the coast. It is just a few miles from the seaside town of Seaton and the historic resort of Lyme Regis, a perfect location for fossil hunting and coastal explorations. The cottage is single storey and is fully centrally-heated. It is comfortably furnished with two large bedrooms (one double one twin). The generous accommodation includes a family bathroom, two loos and a fully fitted kitchen with fridge, a microwave and an automatic washing machine. The large and airy lounge is equipped with digital terrestrial TV, a dvd player and a video. Patio doors lead from the lounge to a sunny, south-facing garden with its own BBQ. Bed linen and towels are provided. Sleeping 4, the holiday cottage is a superb base for a family holiday, nestled within 12 acres of flat and fully enclosed fields. There is plenty of room for children to play and let off steam in a safe environment. Adjacent to the cottage garden is a large field with its own lake on which swans, ducks and other birds nest and swim. Guests are assured the warmest of welcomes from Bridget and Keith's Golden Retriever Merryck. Well behaved pets are of course also welcome! Primrose Cottage being situated on the flat is ideal for less mobile guests. Please note that it is a non-smoking cottage. Guests are asked to dispose of their cigarette ends thoughtfully - bearing in mind the country environment.
