Nestled in the Crevillente mountains in the Hondon Valley, this beautifully authentic cave house retains the charm of Spanish rural life whilst providing comfortably modern facilities. The Property The cave house is believed to be approximately 400 years old and retains many of its original features. The internal temperature remains constant so is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The furnishings have been carefully selected to retain character but to provide modern and comfortable facilities. 4 Bedrooms/sleeps 6: 2 double bed rooms, 2 single bed rooms Bathroom: shower, WC, basin and bidet Kitchen: gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer Utility room: washing machine Living/dining room: dining and seating for 6, TV, DVD player, satellite TV providing UK channels. Towels and linen provided (with the exception of pool towels) and changed on a weekly basis. A welcome pack is provided and airport pickups can be arranged if required – although car hire is highly recommended. Gardens There is a separate bar area, extensive gardens containing a wide selection of cacti, trees and shrubs. The large swimming pool (10m x 5m), with terracing and sunbeds, is fully enclosed at the back of the property, with gated access and is for use by guests and the owners exclusively. Games provided include chess, darts, petanque and numerous board games. Additionally you have use of a gas BBQ and there are ample parking facilities. Pets welcome. We can provide a paella or BBQ night if requested (additional charge).
