The Owl barn is set in the heart of the Calvados countryside, in a quiet rural spot with stunning views. It is the perfect place for a family holiday, being just a short drive from the Sandy Normandy beaches. The gite has four bed rooms arranged as two double rooms, and two twin rooms, sleeping a maximum of eight people. we supply a cot and or a high chair free of charge, if required. The downstairs is very large, with a lounge dinning area, with plenty of sofas and chairs, and a large dinning table, It has English satellite TV, plus a CD Player, a playstation, plus free WIFI internet connection and books toys and games. The interior is finished to a very high standard, inline with what we would want if we went on holiday . The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need, including a dishwasher, microwave, fridge, cooker, etc. Outside you have a 1 acre garden, with your own private above ground pool. It is a perfect place on a sunny afternoon, where the children can play, whilst you enjoy a glass of wine. we provide garden tables and chairs, and a BBQ. We live closeby, with our 4 children, and can provide all the help and advice that you need, on places to visit, eat, and family days out. There is lots to do, from Bungee jumping at the local viaduct, to canoeing on the river Vire, and the zoo , all less than 10 minutes from us. The D Day beaches are close as well, and we spend a lot of time in the school holidays on the quiet beautiful sandy beaches. The kids love it. On our small estate of 8 acres, we keep goats ducks and chickens that you are welcome to feed, and our cats and dogs will make friends with you. We have a games room, with a table tennis table and you are welcome to walk the fields and meadows that surround our home.
