Marina view Apartment in Karagozlar Fethiye in Turkey has stunning views of Fethiye bay and marina and the surrounding pine clad mountains. Just a 10-15 minute stroll into the main town centre with its excellent shopping, fabulous restaurants and bars. Situated in a sought after quiet area of Karagoslar in Fethiye. There is a handy local bus (Dolmus) stop nearby with connections to Fethiye town centre and surrounding areas such as Hisaronu which is great especially at night for its endless array of bars and restaurants and Olu Deniz for its fabulous sandy beach and its impressive "Blue Lagoon". Calis beach is also very popular with a nearby boat connection linking to it. There are a number of bars and restaurants at which to enjoy lunch. In particular the wild bird sanctuary is well worthwhile a visit. It is a very a interesting attraction with a new cafe which offers stunning views out to sea one side and to the marshes on the other. This popular cafe is best visited at night when it transforms into the first class SAT Beach Restaurant with a menu to suit most people and offering very reasonable prices. It is only at night that the views of Karagoslar harbour and the Fethiye marina with all its surrounding buildings lit up, that the splendour of Fethiye can be truly appreciated.

A Â£75 deposit for a 1 week booking or Â£150 deposit for a 2 week booking is required at time of booking with the balance to be paid a least 8 weeks prior to departure. Cancellations within 6 weeks of departure will forefit the deposit.

About Weather/Climate/Temperature

Fethiye with its colourful water front and marina offers many fine restaurants and cafe bars. In the main town there are some lively bars, some themed and a few night clubs. The nearby lively resort of Hisaronu is a 10 to 15 minute cheap taxi ride away. In Hisaronu there are loads of shops selling all holiday bargains especially cheap designer type labled clothing, there are countless bars, quite a number of nightclubs and lots of different nationality restaurants. Hisaronu is very safe and you will feel comfortable at what ever time.

The most famous and beautiful has to be nearby Olu Deniz with its in-let, "The Blue Lagoon". This wide sweeping sandy, in parts sand/shingle beach is breathtaking from a distance. There a few beach bars, limited beach toilets and lots of safe bathing. Olu Deniz is the beach featured in most of the travel brochures showing Turkey. At the rear of the beach there are many bars and restaurants. There is a thriving tandem paragliding scene in and around this area where most flights throw themselves off the surrounding mountains and land just off the beach area, so keep your eyes peeled on certain parts of the beach. The nearby beach at Calis is even closer by with a short boat taxi ride across the Fethiye Bay. The beach is mostly shingle but it is very nice with excellent bathing and well worth a visit.
