It comfortably sleeps 3 to 4 people and is situated on a private road, 250 metres off the A68, that runs through the small village of Ridsdale. Wanney Cottage is set in a peaceful location, offering all modern facilities. It provides an excellent base to explore Northumberland, the land of the "Big Sky", including the Northumberland National Park with Kielder Water Hadrian's Wall and Pennine Way, Border Reiver Country and Nortumberland Coast and Castles. ACCOMMODATION Downstairs: The cosy, spacious lounge has fire place with wood burning stove and dining area seating 4 people. The sunroom has double bed settee and traditional rocking chairs, offering stunning views over open countryside, Cheviot Hills and Scottish Borders. The seperate kitchen is well equipped with all modern facilities, including electric oven, four burner gas hob, washing machine, dish washer, fridge freezer, microwave and many extras for the more ambitious cooks amongs our guests. Upstairs: The double bedroom has luxurious king-size bed, dressing table and ample storage space. The single bedroom has adult size single bed and built in wardrobe. The bathroom has shower over bath with themostatic mixer valve, WC and washbasin; instant hot water supply via combi boiler. Outside: Private, fenced in garden with garden furniture, sunloungers and barbecue provided; stunning views over open countryside and Cheviot Hills. To the front private parking for up to 2 cars. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION All bed linen, towels, electricity, heating and cleaning materials are included in rent. We are child friendly and provide highchair, cot, stairgates if requested.
