Dahab is renowned for its year round sunshine and great wind conditions which make it a great destination for sun-lovers and windsurfers alike. It has a low of around 15-20 degrees and a high of 35-40 degrees.
About Diving
The wonderful underwater world of the Red Sea beckons all those seeking adventure. Rated as one of the top 10 dive sites in the world, this is a diving opportunity not to be missed. Dahab has mostly shore based diving and divers are ferried to and from dive sites by Jeeps. Two of the most famous dive sites in Dahab are the Canyon (underwater fault line crack in the ocean floor at 30m) and the Blue Hole (hole in the reef table that drops down to some 120m). There are plenty of other beautiful dives with some of the most beautiful coral reefs on display. There are many dive clubs teaching PADI dive courses so all certifications can be done here too. There is also boat diving and camel dive safari's so plenty for everyone!
