Just two doorways past Whitby’s Romanesque Arts Centre, our self catering holiday cottage Rooftops sits above Old Whitby’s main shopping street. Looking out of the window you have a fine view across the rooftops and harbour to West Whitby, the Royal Hotel and the celebrated Magpie Café! The bustling street below leads to the 199 steps that take you to the haunting ruins of Whitby Abbey. On the way you pass numerous inns, tea rooms and jewellers – many selling famous Whitby Jet. Comfortably sleeping four, with living and sleeping accommodation on separate floors, our self-catering cottage Rooftops offers a modern, relaxed environment from which to enjoy all that Whitby has to offer. Sitting above our other cottage, Cobblestones, groups of six can book both properties to accommodate them. We welcome two well behaved dogs at our cottages. We make a charge of £35 per dog per week or part of. You are required to bring your own baskets and your pets must remain in the kitchen area of your property and not be allowed on any beds or soft furnishings at any time. Pets are not to be left in your property unattended.
