We have been in operation since 1989 on the beautiful "Esplanade Ridge" of New Orleans. Our unique 1855 Spanish Colonial Olivier Mansion, the 1871 Greek Revival Victor Olivier Mansion and the quaint 1878 Claudia Valoin-deGruys Cottage, have been restored for our guest to rent. The individual needs of each guest are always of paramount importance. Our staff has worked hard over the years to attain the numerous and generous accolades give us. The American Automobile Association's Three Diamond Award, the Mobil Travel Club's Four Star Award, the American Bed & Breakfast Association's Three Crown Award, the Top Fifty B&Bs in America rating by the Los Angels Times, and the Top 20 Urban Inns Award from the Miami Herald are just some of these. The 10,200-square feet of The Olivier Estate offers unique accommodations and exemplary service from our convenient location between the famous French Quarter (7-blocks) and City Park in a quiet residential neighborhood. We are located in walking distance of the Fairgrounds, site of the internationally acclaimed New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, and less then ten minutes from the Louisiana Superdome, The Ernest N Morial Convention Center, The Aquarium of the Americas and major downtown hotels. All rooms include private baths, over-sized bedrooms, private entrances, individual climate-control units, TVs, stereos, roves, hairdryers and direct dial phones. We also have the added features of big-screen TVs, VCRs, working fireplaces and marble baths in some units. The property also has ample off-street parking for all units. The other social room is the kitchen where breakfast is served daily. Three large picture windows overlook the swimming pool and patio. The refrigerator and microwave are always available for guests' use. The marble, pool-side hot tub is fantastic, and the pool is great for laps and sunning around. Our guests are pampered with an extended continental breakfast prepared daily by our own Creole cook and served at the main house.
