We try to make your stay as relaxed as possible and are on hand to provide any support you might require, we live in an entirely separate cottage tucked away at the rear of the property. The grounds at Chez Charente are lovely and provide several differing areas to sit and enjoy the countryside and the peace and quiet. La Ferme has its own large private garden which is completely enclosed for your peace of mind. In this garden you have a bbq and outdoor seating for those wanting to eat alfresco. The children have plenty of space to run around or play on the small climbing frame and swing set. On the upper level you will find the enclosed figure of 8 shaped pool (shared only with the owners), plenty of sunloungers and enough space to sit either in full sun on the deck or on the grass in dappled shade. Beside the pool underneath the shade of the lime trees you will find comfortable sofas beside the sandpit. We have lots of out door toys and play equipment, children will be kept busy here for hours shooting baskets or a quick game of footie. Happy children... Travelling away from home with little ones is often challenging but La Freme is perfectly kitted out in every way. The girls loved being looked after by Penny and we got some much needed respite. I was able to read an entire book in peace, and I was able to catch up on at least four good films. Our son had such a super time playing with the children and of course Boule( the dog).
